In a story that was published on Friday stated that Shenandoah County Public Schools will no longer pay a stipend of $11,000 to Shentel Channel 8. In fact, the stipend was actually being paid to teachers from each schools who produced the features, according to Cindy Earehart Rinker, Marcom Supervisor for Shentel. Shentel runs these features free of charge on Channel 8.
