Words like slaughter and butcher and others disgust me. I think I will hide in my subaru and close my eyes and eat my land cress and save the world.
Well my reply has been removed so I guess this will be a pro-slaughter site.
Don't lump all of us Subie owners in with the ultra-liberal greenies.
I will not. I understand that a few of you subaru drivers actually have a grasp on reality and common sense. I will though keep "playing the numbers" with them. Stereotyping works!
Ignorance is bliss! And that's a comfortable place to be for most. I believe compassion for the creatures that are slaughtered and butchered is far from "hugging a tree" although some love this simplistic view. Even if you care nothing for the pain, abuse and suffering of animals - maybe your own health and/or the health of your love ones is something to ponder. Don't forget you are what you eat. When you eat these poor creatures, you are taking into your body everything that they have endured.
Heart attacks, high blood pressure, cancer and diabetes are just some of the consequences of today's diet. Sugar, salt and fat are addictive: kids are fatter than ever! Fortunately some people are starting to question why Americans are leading the world in obesity and disease. In the meanwhile, health care cost continues to climb and it looks rather bleak (at this time).
