Authorities say a Strasburg woman on work release through the Shenandoah County Jail left the job site earlier this month.
Rebecca Ann Rickard, 29, of 880 Millner Road, remains held without bond on the charge of escape without force, according to Lt. Wes Dellinger, of the Shenandoah County Sheriff's Office in Woodstock. Rickard is scheduled to appear in general district court May 25.
Authorities accuse Rickard of leaving the area of her job at George's Chicken on Senedo Road in Edinburg on April 17.
