Warren County Circuit Judge Dennis L. Hupp has agreed to a request from the opposing attorneys to reschedule a civil trial in which Helen Cockrell, the former executive director of the Shenandoah Area Agency on Aging, is suing the agency.
Cockrell contends the agency owes her $20,000 in accrued annual leave and sick leave after dismissing her in early September amid discoveries of questionable financial management that have since led to a criminal investigation. The case was set for trial on May 22.
Hupp scheduled a hearing for June 11 to set a new date for the trial.

Deny, Deflect, Delay..the trifecta of the justice system. What is the status of the criminal investigation?
