Traffic on U.S. 11 (Old Valley Pike) in Mt. Jackson will be restricted for several weeks as the Virginia Department of Transportation makes some safety improvements.
The work, which is at 5628 Main St., was scheduled to begin Wednesday, and is expected to be done by mid-June, according to a news release from VDOT.
It states the work will be done from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., and both lanes of travel will remain open, but with a lane diversion.
