A Page County woman is being held without bail in the Warren County Jail after she led Warren County deputies on an 11 1/2-mile pursuit Saturday evening, according to a written statement issued by Sheriff Daniel McEathron.
Warren County deputies and Front Royal police captured Donna Renee Henry, 43, of Luray, McEathron said. She is charged with felony eluding of law enforcement, he said.
Warren County deputies were looking for Henry after being notified that that she was wanted by the Front Royal Police Department for reckless driving and eluding law enforcement earlier that day, McEathron said. He said Henry was located on Panhandle Road by Sgt. Jason Poe while he was answering a suspicious person call in the area.
Poe attempted to stop Henry's Ford Ranger pickup but she refused and led deputies on a pursuit until her vehicle hit spike strips that were deployed by the Front Royal Police, according to McEathron. Henry's vehicle came to a stop on U.S. 340 south, where she was taken in to custody by Warren County deputies, according to McEathron.
