Woodstock police arrested a 51-year-old town resident Tuesday on charges of attempted indecent liberties with a child and use of a communications device to solicit a child.
A press release from the Woodstock Police Department states that Hobart Day was "arrested without incident while attempting to meet a juvenile at a prearranged location."
Day is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court on Aug. 2.
Police said additional charges may be filed. The investigation is continuing and police ask anyone with information to call investigator Derek Good at 459-2141.
