A bomb threat at the Jackson Furniture Co. closed roads around the factory at 239 E. Jackson St. in Front Royal Thursday morning.
Police Chief Richard H. Furr said authorities closed East 6th Street from Commerce Avenue to Manassas Avenue to ensure the safety of pedestrians and drivers. Police also went door-to-door notifying neighbors of the incident. No evacuations were ordered, Furr said.
Furr said an explosives technician and three bomb-sniffing dogs from the Virginia State Police found nothing suspicious during a search of the plant and surrounding areas. The roadways were reopened by 10 a.m., he said.
Anyone with information on the bomb threat is asked to call Detective K.E. Foltz at 636-2208 or 635-2111.

Wow...isn't that a high school prank...?
I'm late for school/can't take my test/don't have my homework...
I bet one of the morning employees had a tardiness issue...
