Deputies from Shenandoah County arrested a 37-year-old Woodstock man Sunday night and charged him with malicious wounding in a stabbing incident.
Deputies said the defendant, Luis Daniel Nigaglioni Milanes of 94 Wood Park Lane, was trying to settle a dispute among parents that began earlier in the day with an altercation involving neighborhood children.
"They met in the park to try to work it out," said Lt. Darcy Dellinger of the Shenandoah County Sheriff's Office. The discussion between the adults grew into a heated argument in which Milanes displayed a knife and stabbed a 44-year-old man in the arm, Dellinger said.
The victim was transported to Shenandoah Memorial Hospital and released later in the evening, Dellinger said.
Milanes, who has been jailed without bond, is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court at 11 a.m. Aug. 12.

Oh, well that's teaching the kids how to resolve conflict...... Stupid stupid man.
the man in jail was not in the wrong if you ask me if you was not there dont get in it
the man who in jail did not do any thing wrong
So, you're saying the victim, the guy that got stabbed, was at fault? It was his fault that his arm got in the way of the waving knife?
So let me get this straight, the Sheriff's Office showed up, conducted the investigation, into what happened, interviewed witnesses (I'm assuming since they were in a park), found probable cause and arrested the wrong guy? Well someone should take that to the media!
With the likes of our Sheriff's Dept. it is a wonder they didn't shoot or arrest the wrong man.
