Man accused of punching girlfriend at campground

A Warrenton man is facing a charge of malicious wounding after Shenandoah County sheriff's deputies arrested him Sunday at the Elizabeth Furnace Campground in Fort Valley.

Nicholas Lee Green was also charged with public drunkenness, according to the Sheriff's Office.

Lt. Darcy Dellinger said Green punched his girlfriend several times in the face during an argument at the campsite. She was transported to Shenandoah Memorial Hospital.

He is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County General District at 2 p.m. July 27.

The headline should have read " Man punches Ex-girlfriend ......... "

There is no reason in the world to punch a woman ! If she is that much of a bother, walk away and end the relationship !

If your dog is barking at the back door and your wife is yelling at
the front door, who do you let in first?
The dog, of course. He'll shut up once you let him in.

More than likely, she'll stay with him. He'll do it again, and she'll keep excepting his apology and excuses, and stay. It's a horrible pattern. I hope she would have the guts and since to leave him, press charges, and keep him out of her life..... but this will probably happen a few more times before she breaks away...and that's sad. Good luck to her!!
(To the girlfriend, if you actually read this, he'll 100% hit you again. Take this opportunity to get the h*ll out of that mess.)
