Parts of the Warren County Health Department building at 134 Peyton St. in Front Royal reopened Thursday morning.
However the area for WIC program services remain closed after rain on Wednesday caused damage to the building while crews made repairs to the roof, according to information from Matthew LiPani, northern region public information officer for the Virginia Department of Health.
The agency temporarily relocated WIC services to the Page County Health Department at 75 Court Lane in Luray. The department advises participants in need of information to contact the Page County agency at 743-6528.
Officials expect WIC services at the Warren County Health Department to resume Friday morning, according to LiPani.
Anyone needing assistance or wishing to check on the status of the closure can contact the Lord Fairfax Health District office at 722-3480.
