Meeting
Marquetta Mitchell, Financial Advisor with Edward Jones, will be hosting a coffee club meeting at 9 a.m. Aug. 15 at Christina's Café in Strasburg.
The meeting, titled "Don't Mix Politics and Investing", will discuss strategies to help keep election-year hype from influencing your investing decisions. The meeting will focus on the importance of remaining invested, selecting quality investments, maintaining proper diversification and keeping a long-term perspective.
Additional topics will include the health care sector, municipal bonds, retirement concerns and paying for education.
Christina's Café is located at 219 West King Street in Strasburg. Refreshments will be served. Call 465-2605 to reserve seats.
