The AA rating is the third highest of Fitch's 19 categories and reflects Thrivent Financial's overall financial strength and claims-paying ability.
The stable financial outlook was driven by Thrivent Financial's strong capital base and the expectation of the organization's solid operating performance for the remainder of 2012.
