Recognition

Fitch Ratings has affirmed Thrivent Financial for Lutherans' AA (Very Strong) rating and has given the organization a stable outlook.

Fitch Ratings cited Thrivent Financial's strong capitalization, high quality investment portfolio, consistent profitability and favorable market position within the Lutheran market as part of the basis for affirmation. The AA rating is the third highest of Fitch's 19 categories and reflects Thrivent Financial's overall financial strength and claims-paying ability.

The stable financial outlook was driven by Thrivent Financial's strong capital base and the expectation of the organization's solid operating performance for the remainder of 2012.

Thrivent Financial is a nonprofit Fortune 500 financial services membership organization helping approximately 2.5 million members achieve financial security and give back to their communities. The organization also creates and supports national outreach programs and activities that help congregations, schools, charitable organizations and individuals in need.

Walt Morgan represents the organization locally, and he has offices located at 106 Lawyers Row, Suite 204 in Woodstock. He can be contacted by calling 459-9257 or by email at walt.morgan@thrivent.com.
