Daily Staff Report
Wakefield County Day School, located in Huntly at 1059 Zachary Taylor Highway, is looking for nearby land for the ninth grade biology class to use. The land needs to be a good habitat for wood duck nest boxes, which would be implemented this winter.
Students, supervised by instructors, will be placing the boxes for wood ducks to use in the spring. The ideal habitat would include streams, ponds and marshy areas.
To assist with this project, call teacher Jeff Perry at 540-635-8555, ext. 232.
