Front Royal airport gets grant funding

The Front Royal-Warren County Airport Commission has been awarded a $25,000 grant to reimburse it for improvements at the airport.

The Federal Aviation Administration is disbursing the money, according to a news release from the U.S. Department of Transportation.

The grant is intended to pay back the airport for land it bought to remove obstructions from the approach to a runway at the airport, according to the release.
