Counties back to school on WednesdayDaily staff reports As of Tuesday afternoon, Warren, Shenandoah and Frederick County Public Schools will return to classes Wednesday, but on a two-hour delay. Pam McInnis, superintendent in Warren County, said the Virginia Department of Transportation projected that roads should be fine for buses, and the two-hour delay would give bus drivers more daylight. Schools in Warren and Shenandoah County reported no power outages from superstorm Sandy. One was reported in Frederick County, but it was fixed by Tuesday. None of the schools reported building damages. Copyright © The Northern Virginia Daily | nvdaily.com | 152 N. Holliday St., Strasburg, Va. 22657 | (800) 296-5137 |
