Elks honor police, fire, rescue personnel

The Front Royal Elks Lodge held its Law Enforcement and Fire Department Appreciation dinner at the lodge on Guard Hill Road. The Front Royal Elks Lodge honored seven police officers, firefighters, and rescue squad members at its Law Enforcement and Fire Department Appreciation Dinner on Oct. 20.

Awards for outstanding service were presented to: Deputy Jeremy Seal; Front Royal Detective Jason Lethcoe; volunteer EMT Jay Moore of Fire Co. No. 1; volunteer firefighter Wyatt Strickland from Fire Co. No. 5; career EMT Lee Gibson, career firefighter Mickey Sirna and Deputy Larry Funk.
