The following public meetings will be held this week:
Shenandoah County
The Water Resources Advisory Committee meets at 7 p.m. Thursday in the board conference room.
Edinburg
Town Council meets at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in town hall.
Mount Jackson
Mayor Joseph A. Williams holds an open-door meeting from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday. Town Council then meets at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Strasburg
Town Council meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday. Council plans to hold a public hearing on resolutions in support of the town seeking rural development sewer bonds. Council also may take action on the resolutions. Likewise, council plans to take action on a resolution related to the Virginia Department of Transportation revenue sharing program.
The Planning Commission meets at 7 p.m. Thursday.
Warren County
The Virginia Department of Transportation holds a public information meeting on the Morgan Ford Road bridge replacement project from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Front Royal Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department, 221 N. Commerce Ave., Front Royal.
The Planning Commission meets at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the county government center. The commission plans to continue its discussion and possibly take action on a request for a conditional-use permit sought by Betty West to build an assisted living facility at the corner of Harmony Hollow and Harmony Orchard roads on agricultural land.

The commission also plans to hear an update on a request by the Front Royal Limited Partnership to annex 604 acres of county property into town limits.
Following the regular meeting the commission plans to hold a work session for a presentation on the future plans for Sunflower Cottage
The Front Royal Golf Club Advisory Committee meets at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Front Royal Golf Club.
The Advisory Board for the Department of Social Services meets at 4 p.m. Thursday in the agency office at 912 Warren Ave.
The Front Royal Town Council and the county Board of Supervisors hold a liaison meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday in the caucus room of the government center.

Frederick County
The Parks and Recreation Committee meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
The Board of Supervisors and the Planning Commission meet for a joint work session at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday. The panels plan to continue their discussion about proposed revisions to the residential performance zoning district and setback requirements for accessory structures in the rural areas district.
