The following public meetings are scheduled Nov. 19-23:

Shenandoah County
The Tourism Council meets at noon Tuesday at Shaffer's Catering, Barbecue and Deli, 913 S. Main St., Woodstock.

Edinburg
The Planning Commission meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Edinburg Town Hall, 101 Town Hall Ave.

New Market
Town Council meets at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the Arthur J. Hildreth Jr. Municipal Building, 9418 John Sevier Road, New Market. Council plans to discuss and consider an ordinance providing for the annual calculation of personal property tax relief. Council also plans to discuss and consider authorizing the distribution of employee Christmas bonuses.

Strasburg
Town Council meets at 7 p.m. Monday in Town Hall, 174 W. King St. Council plans to discuss:

Locations and options for constructing a new water storage tower. Residents may make comments after staff give a presentation to council.

An update from the Shenandoah Valley Battlefield Foundation regarding the possible purchase of an easement on the Island Farm property.

An update from staff regarding the design and financing of the proposed Wastewater Treatment Plant upgrade.

Warren County
The Parks and Recreation Commission meets at 5:30 p.m. Monday at the Warren County Community Center, 538 Villa Ave, Front Royal.

The Board of Supervisors meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Warren County Government Center, 220 N. Commerce Ave., Front Royal. Supervisors plan to hold public hearings at 7:30 p.m. on:

The 2035 Front Royal Area Transportation Plan

Supervisors also will discuss two requests for water availability through Front Royal. The board plans to go into closed session to discuss appointments to the Warren County Airport Commission and the Lord Fairfax Emergency Medical Services Council.

Frederick County

Middletown
Town Council holds its committee meetings beginning at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Town Hall, 7875 Church St.

Stephens City
The Public Works Committee meets at 5:30 p.m. Monday, followed by the Water and Sewer Committee at 6 p.m., at town hall, 1033 Locust St.

The Historic Preservation Commission meets at 5 p.m. Tuesday.

The Old Stephens City School subcommittee meets at 5:30 Tuesday.
