Winchester resident David Miller poses with a check for $250,000 -- his winnings from playing the Mega Millions lottery. The winning numbers for that drawing were 18-22-33-35-40 and Mega Ball 11. The ticket was one of seven second-prize winners in that drawing, and the only one in Virginia.
