The following meetings are scheduled this week:
Shenandoah County
The Board of Supervisors meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the government center in Woodstock. The board plans to hear updates on the Edinburg School and Historic Courthouse Project and on the new design for the county's Geographic Information Center. Supervisors also plan to discuss Reasonable Solutions for Interstate 81 from the Shenandoah County Network, and the proposed gift of the Zula Wagner property for a public park.
The board also may take action on:
An occupancy agreement between the county and Charterhouse School
A resolution of support for an application by the Shenandoah Valley Battlefields Foundation to the Virginia Department of Transportation for funding
A resolution opposing House Bill 1430 regarding the Right to Farm Act
A notice of award for the Shenandoah County Free Clinic
The board then plans to meet in closed session to discuss a possible appointment to the Board of Zoning Appeals and to consult with legal counsel.
New Market
Town Council meets at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Arthur L. Hildreth Jr. Municipal Building. Council plans to discuss and consider a recommendation for an appointment to the Board of Zoning Appeals. Council also plans to meet in closed session to consult with legal counsel.
Warren County
The Board of Supervisors holds a work session at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the county government center to hear from outside agencies about local funding requests.
The Rappahannock-Shenandoah-Warren Regional Jail Authority board's transition committee meets at 1 p.m. Thursday in the caucus room in the government center. The full board then meets at 2 p.m. following the committee meeting.
The Front Royal-Warren County Anti-Litter Council meets at 4 p.m. Thursday in the government center.

Hear a presentation from the Front Royal-Warren County Power of Partnerships Alliance
Receive updates on the Virginia Main Street Program and on the town's 225th Anniversary celebration
Discuss proposed amendments to the zoning ordinance pertaining to fence height, nonconformity and parking exemptions, home occupations and sign refacing exemption
See a proposal for phase II of the wastewater treatment plant expansion project
Discuss revisions to the employee handbook
Discuss capital improvement projects
Discuss real estate and personal property tax rates
Council plans to meet in closed session to discuss legal matters and the evaluation of the town manager.
Middletown
Town Council holds a meeting of its committees beginning at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Stephens City
The Town Council Finance Committee meets at 5 p.m. Wednesday.
