Strasburg council meeting changed for forum

Strasburg Town Council has cancelled their next meeting planned for Tuesday because the session conflicts with one of several forums on school safety.

Council instead has called a special meeting for 7:30 p.m. Monday.

Several council members, as well as Town Manager Judson Rex and police Chief Timothy Sutherly plan to attend the safety forum at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Signal Knob Middle School, according to Clerk of Council Amy Keller. The council also acknowledged that many residents might also want to attend the safety forum, Keller noted.

The Art Show Open House in the town administrative building remains on schedule from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
