A story in Friday's paper about children's dental health should have stated that a consistent oral care routine should be established when the baby's first tooth erupts. Parents also should begin to floss children's teeth when two teeth touch, and children who are not able to rinse or spit out toothpaste should avoid flouride toothpaste.
