The following public meeting are scheduled this week:
Shenandoah County
The Tourism Council meets at noon Tuesday at Woodstock Café, 117 S. Main St., Woodstock. The council plans to discuss the Gardens, Galleries and Grapes event, updates on the Artisan Trail, the website and the visitor guide as well as new advertising for the summer.
The Citizens Advisory Committee meets at 5 p.m. Wednesday. Members plan to review actions by the Board of Supervisors in January and February and then to discuss proposed edits to chapter 3 of the Comprehensive Plan.
The Board of Supervisors holds a work session at 7 p.m. Wednesday. The board plans to consider appointing an acting county administrator. Supervisors also plan to continue their discussion of the fiscal 2014 budget with a focus on outside agencies, parks and recreation, public works, community development, voter registration and the sanitary districts.
The Water Resources Advisory Committee meets at 5 p.m. Thursday. The panel plans to see a presentation on a timeline for the creation of a stormwater ordinance and discuss an overview of runoff control from development, as well as look at options for a stormwater ordinance package.
Strasburg
Town Council holds a work session at 7 p.m. Monday. Council plans to hear a presentation by staff of scenarios and information on the fiscal 2014 budget.
Woodstock
The Street Committee meets at 5:30 p.m. Monday and plans to discuss dilapidated structures and a proposed handicapped parking space on South Main Street.
The Finance Committee meets at 6 p.m. Monday. The panel plans to consider repairs and improvements to W.O. Riley Park, a request for funds from the Shenandoah Valley Music Festival and an emergency ordinance to amend town code pertaining to real estate tax exemptions for the elderly and disabled.
The Economic Development Authority meets at 7 p.m. Monday. The Bridgewater Retirement Home has asked the authority to serve as the vehicle in its effort to borrow $27 million for an expansion project. The retirement home has requested that it borrow $7 million through Woodstock and $10 million each through Broadway and Bridgewater.
Warren County
The Board of Supervisors meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday. The board plans to hold public hearings at 7:30 p.m. on:

The Front Royal Golf Club Advisory Committee meets at 10 a.m. at the club.
The Department of Social Services Advisory Board meets at 4 p.m. Thursday at 912 Warren Ave.
Front Royal
The town holds an open house for the new administration building at 102 E. Main St. from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday. Town Council and officials will conduct a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the building at 6:30 p.m.

The Agricultural District Advisory Committee meets at 6 p.m. Monday

The Frederick County Sanitation Authority meets at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The Historic Resources Advisory Board meets at 6 p.m. Tuesday
The Frederick County School Board holds a work session at 6 p.m. followed by its regular meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
The Board of Supervisors Finance Committee meets at 8 a.m. Wednesday.
The Planning Commission meets at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
The Tourism Board meets at 8 a.m. Thursday.
The Winchester Regional Airport Authority meets at 5 p.m. Thursday.
Middletown
Town Council committees meet beginning at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Stephens City
The Historic Preservation Commission meets at 5 p.m. Tuesday.
The Public Works Committee meets at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday followed by the Water and Sewer Committee at 6 p.m.
The Public Safety Committee meets at 7 p.m. Thursday.
