Candidates seeking the Republican Party nomination to run for seats on the Shenandoah County Board of Supervisors plan to talk about local issues at a "town hall meeting" Thursday.
The meeting will be held in the former Toms Brook School gymnasium, 3235 Main St., at 7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. Organizers will take questions from the audience. Cindy Bailey and Marsha Shruntz will talk about economic challenges that face the county. Bailey and Shruntz seek the nomination to run for the district 4 and 5 seats on the board, respectively.
