An article appearing in Friday's newspaper about the arrest of two men after a nine-month undercover drug investigation contained several errors. Maj. Scott Proctor of the Shenandoah County Sheriff's Office said the two defendants were taken into custody on several charges that were filed against them prior to their arrests.

James H. Lichliter is charged with five counts of drug distribution from the initial part of the investigation in mid-2012. His co-defendant, Jeremy M. Dysart, was wanted on an arrest warrant for failure to appear in Shenandoah County General District Court.

Proctor said other charges against Lichliter and Dysart are pending as a result of search warrants executed at 13265 Old Valley Pike in Edinburg and 1230 Headquarters Road, Edinburg, which law enforcement officers have identified as Dysart's home address.
Authorities say they seized a substance believed to be methamphetamine and several precursors linked to the manufacture of the drug at the Old Valley Pike residence. Other substances police suspect are illegal drugs were seized at the Headquarters Road address.
