Roanoke College Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Institutional Relations Adrienne G. Bloss, Ph.D., will start as Shenandoah University's vice president for academic affairs on July 8.
The Stone House Foundation, operator of the Newtown History Center in Stephens City, has granted Eloise Stader emeritus status on its Board of Directors. She served as the foundation's vice president.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Rural Energy for America Program has funding for farm producers and rural small businesses involved in energy efficiency and renewable energy projects.
Grant applications and combined grant and guaranteed loan applications for renewable energy systems and energy efficiency improvements are due April 30, as are renewable energy system feasibility study grant applications. Guaranteed loan only applications are due July 15.
