Daily staff report
Two Harrisonburg men died in a single vehicle rollover at about 10:20 p.m. Thursday night on Interstate 81 near New Market.
State police said the victims, identified as driver Steven O. Flack, 63, and passenger James Edward Buracker, 50, died at the scene from their injuries.
State police Sgt. F.L. (Les) Tyler said a 2004 Chevrolet Blazer driven by Flack was headed south on I-81 when it left the road. Flack overcorrected, then went off the right side of the road and overturned down an embankment, Tyler said.
Tyler said both victims were wearing seat belts. Trooper J.A. Williams investigated the crash, he said.
