Frederick County seeks feedback on new website

Daily staff report

Frederick County plans to move to a new home on the Internet soon and is giving users a first look at the updated website.

The county's Information Technology Department has entered the final testing stages of a new government website. The test site, www.fcva.us, is now live and the county is seeking input from visitors and users, according to a news release issued by the department Monday.

Visitors can give input by clicking the "Feedback" link at the top of the pages or by sending an email to the webmaster through the link at the bottom of the page footer.

Site enhancements include more online services, improved navigation for every department and easier access to popular information, the release states. The site also will feature access to information and online services for mobile communications devices.

The county will announce the official launch of the new site in the near future.
