Tracy P. Miller, financial advisor at Edward Jones in Edinburg, recently won the firm’s Edward Jones Sr. Founders Award for her exceptional achievement in building client relationships.

The next Farm Efficiency Workshop will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 31 at the Tidewater Agricultural Research and Extension Center in Suffolk. Edward Jones financial advisor Marquetta Mitchell will host a seminar, titled “Perception vs. reality: Separating fact from fiction in today’s investing environment,” at Cristina’s Cafe, 219 W. King St., Strasburg, at 9 a.m. July 17. Lloyd A. Willis, general sales manager with Centennial Broadcasting II in Winchester, earned the designation of Certified Radio Sales Manager. The designation is certified by the Radio Advertising Bureau and is awarded to managers who have completed a comprehensive training program and passed a final exam that tests their knowledge and management skill sets.
