Frederick County launches drunk driving crackdown
The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office will be cracking down on drunk drivers through Labor Day as part of the nationwide “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” campaign.
A news release from the Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday warned drivers that deputies will be conducting two sobriety checkpoints in Frederick County on Friday and on Aug. 23 at undisclosed locations between 8 p.m. and 3 a.m.
Drivers should also expect increased patrols on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights as deputies look for drunk drivers.
