The Mount Jackson Police Department is continuing to investigate the death of a nearly 7-month-old boy reported early Wednesday morning.
"Police are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding this incident and are investigating it as a suspicious death pending the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner's preliminary autopsy report determining the cause and manner of death," Chief J.D. Fadley said in a news release issued Friday.
Fadley said the investigation began after police received a 911 call reporting a child not breathing at an apartment at 6286 Railroad St.
