School board approves scholarship
Daily Staff Report
The Warren County School Board approved a $50,000 endowment, which will be used to fund an annual scholarship at Warren County High School, at a board meeting Thursday night.
According to the meeting’s agenda, the scholarship would honor the memory of Jesse Burns Earle, who was attending the high school when he died in a car accident in January 1976.
The agenda states that Earle’s brother, Alexander M. Earle Jr., is providing the endowment.
