American Woodmark Corp. has named M. Scott Culbreth as its new chief financial officer, starting Feb. 24.
A release sent by the Winchester-based kitchen cabinet and vanity manufacturer states that Culbreth will have direct responsibility for the company's information technology, controller, treasury and internal audit functions.
Culbreth has experience as the CFO of Piedmont Hardware Brands, an international hardware manufacturer acquired from Newell Rubbermaid by NOVA Capital last fall.
He will report directly to American Woodmark Chairman and CEO Kent Guichard, the release states.
Culbreth earned a bachelor's degree in finance from Virginia Tech and a master's degree in business from Washington University.
