Supervisors to hold meeting on Alms House, bridge

Shenandoah County supervisors Cindy Bailey and Marsha Shruntz plan to hold a town hall meeting next week on the Alms House project and the bridge on Bear Paw Road.

The meeting is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Monday at Maurertown Brethren Church, 24916 Old Valley Pike, Maurertown. The supervisors plan to hear concerns and take questions about proposed renovations of the Alms House on the county farm for the Shenandoah Alliance for Shelter and the bridge on Bear Paw Road over the Shenandoah River that serves as access to the Black Bear community.
