The Town of Front Royal is inviting local business owners and operators to its business forum at 6 p.m. March 27 in the second-floor Council Chambers of the Administration Building, 102 East Main St., Front Royal. The forum is an opportunity to discuss issues with town staff related to conducting business in Front Royal and discuss ways the town can improve business relations and assist local business owners.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture has announced its Commodity Credit Corporation lending rates for March. The corporation’s borrowing rate-based charge is 0.125 percent and its interest rate for commodity and marketing assistance loans disbursed in March is 1.125 percent, both of which are unchanged from February. Interest rates for Farm Storage Facility Loans approved for March are 2.125 percent with 7-year loan terms, 2.75 percent with 10-year loan terms, 2.875 percent with 12-year loan terms and 3.125 percent for 15-year Sugar Storage Facility Loans.
