Former Ben's Eatery to become Title Max

By Ryan Cornell

A building in Front Royal that once housed Hardee's, Alberto's Pizza and most recently Ben's Eatery will see its food service days come to an end when it's transformed into a Title Max location this year.

Located at 712 Royal Ave., the 3,500-square-foot building went on the market in May and under contract in November.

Brett Haynes, associate broker with OakCrest Commercial Real Estate, said the property was sold to VRE Front Royal LLC for $550,000. The sale was closed in January, he said.

He said Title Max will lease the property from VRE Front Royal LLC.

"They saw an opportunity for growth in the Front Royal market and say the property was suitable for their needs," he said.

Title Max specializes in car title loans and has locations in Woodstock and Winchester.

Haynes said crews have started renovating and removing restaurant equipment from the inside of the building.

"I'm just glad that it's back in use for the community and I think it's another sign that we're starting to see some increased activity in the market," he said.
