The Main Street Daily Grind has announced that its branded coffee has been approved for the Virginia’s Finest Trademark Program. All of its retail coffees will have the Virginia’s Finest checkmark on its packaging.

Winchester-based PVL Design Associates, a commercial and residential interior architecture, interior design and procurement firm, has announced that it has been awarded contracts with the Department of Veterans Affairs to provide professional interior architecture, design and related services for VA projects throughout the mid-Atlantic region. The scope of work under the new contracts include studies, investigations, planning, programming, interior design and the procurement and installation of furnishings, fixtures and equipment for several VA medical facilities and community living centers in Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania and New York.

The Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is urging all horse owners to check with their veterinarians for West Nile Virus, Eastern Equine Encephalitis and rabies vaccination recommendations for their animals. Owners are recommended to re-vaccinate their horses at least annually, and every six months in some areas.
