SunTrust Bank will close its Edinburg branch on Aug. 1, according to company spokesman Mike McCoy.
“Like all banking companies, we’re constantly refining our branch network to meet the changing needs and transaction patterns of clients,” he said. “The opening and closing of branches has become a natural part of ensuring that we’re doing that.”
He said SunTrust will remain committed to serving its clients through its mobile app as well as access to online banking and other area branches.
The Atlanta-based banking company has locations in New Market, Front Royal and Winchester.
