Several individuals with area banks graduated from the Virginia Bankers School of Bank Management at the University of Virginia on Aug. 1. The school, according to a release, is designed “to provide a multi-dimensional educational experience for bankers.”

Rebecca Lipscomb, co-founder and vice president of PVL Design Associates in Winchester, is stepping down from her position to take on a new role as resource development director with Habitat for Humanity of Winchester-Frederick County.
A PVL Design Associates news release states Lipscomb assumed her new position Aug. 11, but will retain an ownership stake of the award-winning interior design, interior architecture and procurement firm.
PVL President and Managing Partner Eileen Isola will continue running day-to-day operations, while Director of Design Jessica De Jong will continue to manage the company’s creative operations.
