No charges to be filed in breaking of store window
Daily staff report
No charges will be filed against two men involved in the breaking of a plate glass window at Peoples Drug Store at 145 E. King St. in Strasburg on Saturday night.
Police Chief Tim Sutherly said one of the men was injured when he broke the window. Sutherly said the injured man was taken to Shenandoah Memorial Hospital where he was treated and released. Sutherly said it was unclear whether the incident involved horseplay or some other action.
Sutherly said police decided not pursue charges after learning that the two men had agreed to pay the drug store for the broken window.
