Public meetings Aug. 11-15


Shenandoah County
The Board of Supervisors meets at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the county administration building, 600 N. Main St.

The Library Board meets at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the Shenandoah County Library
Activity Room, 514 Stoney Creek Blvd., Edinburg.

The School Board meets at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the county administration building. The board holds a closed session followed by the regular meeting at 7 p.m.

Edinburg
Town Council meets at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at 101 Town Hall Ave.

Mount Jackson
Town Council meets at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in Town Hall, 5901 Main St.

Strasburg
Town Council meets at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in Town Hall, 174 E. King St.

Toms Brook

Town Council meets at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the Toms Brook Volunteer Fire Department station.

Warren County
The Planning Commission meets at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Government Center, 220 N. Commerce Ave.

The School Board meets at 7 p.m. Thursday in the government center.

Front Royal
Town Council meets at 7 p.m. Monday in the Warren County Government Center.

The Board of Architectural Review meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the town administration building, 102 E. Main St.

Frederick County
The Board of Supervisors meets at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the county government center, 107 N. Kent St., Winchester, to hold a closed session. The board then holds a work session with the Planning Commission at noon.

The Parks and Recreation Commission meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Sandy Shelter at Sherando Park.

The Board of Supervisors holds its regular meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the government center.

The School Board meets at 5:30 p.m. Thursday in the administration building, 1415 Amherst St., Winchester.

Middletown
Town Council meets at 7 p.m. Monday in town hall, 7875 Church St.

Stephens City
The Personnel Committee meets at 6 p.m. Tuesday in town hall, 1033 Locust St.

The Newtown Heritage Festival Committee meets at 7 p.m. Thursday in Town Hall.
