Law enforcement officials in Shenandoah and Warren counties rounded up a total of 10 people Thursday and Friday in two separate drug busts involving possession of heroin and other drugs.

The Front Royal and Warren County team of the Northwest Virginia Regional Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 135 James St. in Front Royal on Thursday. Agents seized an unspecified amount of heroin and pills, according to a news release from Sheriff Daniel McEathron.

The news release identified the eight people arrested and the charges filed as:

Justin Lovoy Tobin, 31, and Casey Jane Tobin, 25, both of 135 James St. They are charged with two counts of possession of a schedule I or schedule II controlled substance and one count of child endangerment. They are being held without bond in the RSW Regional Jail.

Aaron Roy Hayden, 28, of Roanoke. He is charged with one count of possession of schedule I or schedule II controlled substance, one count of possession of a schedule IV controlled substance and one count of possession of controlled paraphernalia. He is being held without bond.

Christina Gayle Crawford, 23, Patrick Allen Decristofaro, 24, and Philip Lee Vaughn, 40, all of 135 James St. They are each charged with possession of a schedule I or II controlled substance. Decristofaro is being held without bond and Vaughn has been released from RSW Regional Jail after posting $2,000 secured bond. Crawford's bail status was not available.

Rosalind Deneen Allen, 50, of Baltimore. She is charged with one count of possession of a schedule I or II controlled substance. She is in jail without bond.

Amy Renee McCorkle, 29, of Luray. She is charged with one count of possession of a schedule I or schedule II controlled substance. She is being held in jail on a $2,000 secured bond.

In a separate case, Maj. Scott Proctor of the Shenandoah County's Sheriff's Office identified two men arrested on drug charges Thursday and Friday.

The defendants are David Warren, 62, and Tyrone Francis Adams Jr., 49, both of 263 Lakeview Drive, Woodstock, the same address where law enforcement officials executed a search warrant Thursday evening.

"One of the investigators assigned to the regional drug task force received information from a confidential informant that there were individuals bringing large amounts of heroin to an apartment," Proctor said, referring to the site of the search warrant.

Proctor said sheriff's deputies, assisted by police from Woodstock and Strasburg, seized 2 to 4 ounces of heroin or opiate-based prescription drugs at the apartment.

Adams was arrested Thursday night at the apartment and Warren was arrested around 1 p.m. Friday at the Sheriff's Office, Proctor said. Adams is being held without bond and is scheduled to appear at 9 a.m. Sept. 19 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

Warren's bail status and court date were not available Friday afternoon.

Proctor said other charges could be pending.
