Warren County Administrator Douglas P. Stanley announced recent appointments in the county’s Planning and Finance Departments.
Douglas Sexton Jr. joined the county’s Planning Department as GIS coordinator in July. He will focus on updating the GIS system, re-development of the GIS website and E-911 mapping. Sexton is a graduate of James Madison University with a bachelor’s degree in justice studies. He previously worked with Rockingham County as a Permit Specialist and Erosion and Sediment Control Inspector before being promoted to GIS & 911 Addressing Technician in December of 2012.
Andre Fletcher has been appointed deputy finance director. A graduate of George Mason University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Fletcher previously served as a Prince William County deputy sheriff in 2006 and as an accountant with Community Management Corp. in Chantilly in 2004. His initial focus will be in the development of the upcoming budget for 2015-2016.
