Farm Fresh Program
The Blue Ridge Food Bank has initiated the Farm Fresh Program, which makes it possible to purchase local, fresh produce harvested by local farmers at a deep discount through the Shenandoah Valley Produce Auction, then moved to partner agencies — food pantries, soup kitchens and shelters.

In 2014 the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank distributed more than 5 million pounds of produce throughout the nine cities and 25 counties it serves. Area residents can help by making a monetary gift to the Farm Fresh Program. Farm Credit of Virginia will match donations up to $25,000.
