Route 11 Potato Chips returns to Fancy Food Show
Route 11 Potato Chips will once again attend the Summer Fancy Food Show in New York City.
Held in the Jakob K. Javits Convention Center this Sunday through Tuesday, the three-day event is the largest specialty food trade show in North America. Touting more than 180,000 products, 25,000 buyers and 2,500 exhibitors, it is the leading showcase of industry innovation.
The Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services will host a Virginia Pavilion during the weekend where 24 specialty food companies, including Route 11 Potato Chips, of Mount Jackson, will exhibit.
Each year, the Fancy Food Show is held to connect buyers from grocery stores, restaurants, markets and gift shops with specialty food companies. There is an ever-increasing demand by consumers for innovative, specialty foods and beverages and this trade event helps broaden the accessibility of those products.
Route 11 Potato Chips has been a regular attendee of the show for many years, and has won or been nominated for multiple sofi Awards, the specialty food industry’s most prestigious honor.
Route 11 Potato Chips’ sweet potato flavor was the gold winner for Outstanding Snack Food in 2008. The flavors Dill Pickle, Mama Zuma’s Revenge and Lightly Salted were finalists for the award in 2011, 2012 and 2013 respectively.
