Motorcyclist dies after crash

A 26-year-old motorcyclist died from injuries sustained Sunday evening in a collision with an SUV, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office reported on Monday

The victim was identified as Jason Hill, of Ellen Drive in Front Royal.

Hill’s 2010 Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling in the 2300 block of Browntown Road around 6:20 p.m. when it collided with a 2001 GMC SUV driven by Landon Jenkins of Gooney Manor Loop, Browntown, according to a news release from the Sheriff’s Office.

Hill was thrown from the motorcycle and later flown to Winchester Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. The Sheriff’s Office reported he died at about 3:10 a.m. from the injuries. An autopsy will be performed by the Office of the State Medical Examiner in Richmond.
