Shentel announces more promotions
Shentel has announced four executive promotions.
Brian Brooks was named vice president of wireless sales and be responsible for the direct and indirect wireless sales organization.
Kevin Folk was named vice president of wireless operations and will be responsible for the combined wireless field organization.
Angela Washington is the new vice president customer service and will be responsible for the customer service and tech support organizations serving cable and telephone customers.
Bill Sibert is director of facilities management and will be responsible for all company locations, vehicles and generators.
In a news release, Earle MacKenzie, executive vice president, noted, “These promotions are another step toward integrating our operations as we move forward in our acquisition of NTELOS Holdings Corp. Shentel is fortunate to have an experienced bench to pull from as we do the work necessary to make a smooth transition.”
Last month Shentel announced plans to acquire NTELOS Holdings Corp., which provides wireless communications services in Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Kentucky. Current nTelos customers will become Shentel customers under the Sprint brand.
