FRONT ROYAL – Lucy, a domestic medium hair cat, is a great pet for any home.

Lucy is a 5-year-old dilute calico that was brought to the Humane Society of Warren County on Aug. 22 when her family moved and was unable to take her with them.

Suzy Daley, adoption coordinator at the shelter, said, “She’s a real lovebug.”

Daley said that Lucy’s very friendly with all people. She has lived with children and got along great with them.

In addition to being great with people, she does well with other cats and dogs.

“She just loves everybody,” Daley said.

She’s a very affectionate cat, Daley said, “She’s very snuggly and cuddly.”

She’s been an indoor cat, but has tried to get outside a few times, Daley said. She’s also an “excellent mouser.”

Daley added that when she is first introduced to a new place she might hide for the first couple days, but it will pass and she’ll make herself at home.

Lucy is up-to-date on her vaccinations and she is spayed.

Her adoption fee is $15.
