Richard Miller, of Woodstock, has won $500,000 in a Virginia Lottery game.

Miller won the money in the $5,000,000 Cash Blowout game after purchasing the ticket at the Shenandoah Express Mart, 203 S. Main St. in Woodstock, according to a news release from the Virginia Lottery.

The release states that Miller has no plans for his winnings as of now, except to pay bills.

“My life is fun right now just the way it is,” Miller states. “I enjoy my life!”

The release states Miller doesn’t want the winnings to change who he is.

There are three more winning tickets that have not been claimed in the Cash Blowout game.  Chances of winning the top prize are 1 in 1,836,000.

Shenandoah Express Mart will receive a $10,000 bonus from the Virginia Lottery for selling a winning ticket. In December, the store sold a Maurertown woman a winning $2.5 million top prize ticket in the lottery’s Casino Cash game.
